Ito Port（area:CHUBU／SHIZUOKA)
Positioned a mere 120 kilometers (75 miles) southwest of Tokyo, the Port of Ito serves as a marine access point for the city of the same name, a picturesque resort town nestled between mountains and the sea. Popular spots around the port include Ito Orange Beach and recreational facilities such as the Shiraishi neighborhood’s Ito Sunrise Marina and Ito Marine Town.
The city of Ito is also well known as the number one getaway area of the eastern Izu Peninsula, featuring everything one could possibly want: relaxation, nature, history, culture, art, museums, and more. Of particular note are its dynamic coastlines, such as the Jogasaki Coast, and its ubiquitous hot springs, available at most hotels and inns in the area.
