Yawatahama Port（area:SHIKOKU／EHIME)
Yawatahama Port is located in the western part of Ehime Prefecture and is the western gateway connecting Shikoku and Kyushu. It is known as a naturally good harbor with calm waves. Around the port, there are direct sales and dining facilities that make use of local ingredients, and behind it you can get a close-up look at the Mukainada Terraced Fields, which have been selected as one of the 88 most scenic spots in Shikoku.The area specializes in primary industries such as agriculture and fisheries, and citrus fruits grown on the terraced fields in particular have made a major contribution to the development of agriculture in Ehime Prefecture and Yawatahama City.
