Production and broadcasting of television commercials targeting viewers overseas
In order to prevent the spread of harmful rumors, television commercials are being produced and broadcast worldwide so that the charms of Japan and the Tohoku region will be accurately expressed to the global community. The commercials are also shown at events and receptions held at diplomatic missions abroad, associated municipalities, and associated organizations.

To produce video footage with the theme of “Tohoku recovery” and video messages from notable people to be shown at diplomatic missions abroad and overseas television stations, as well as delivery through the official MOFA website.

Reconstruction photo exhibitions at diplomatic missions abroad
To collect photographs of Tohoku and its recovery, beautiful scenery, cultural assets, and sightseeing spots, and to organize photo exhibitions at diplomatic missions abroad, and publish these photos on their websites.

To organize a high-level international conference in order to share with the global community the lessons that we have gained regarding disaster prevention from the Great East Japan Earthquake and other recent natural disasters.
