Subsidy programs for health trade associations and joint health trade associations
To provide government subsidies to projects carried out by the health trade associations and their joint associations that visit the Tohoku and North Kanto area. (As there is no definite plan for such projects, MHLW will encourage future planning.)
note）MHLW provided subsidy for the Beauty Association of Yamagata which implemented a recovery support project last October, during which they carried out several hands-on courses such as “Kimono Dressing,” “Maiko (apprentice geisha) Transformation,” and “Mock Wedding,” targeting travelers and locals in Yamagata for the purpose of stimulating the local economy and regeneration.
Period
Meetings and conferences by associated agencies of MHLW in the Tohoku and North Kanto area .
To encourage agencies under the jurisdiction of MHLW to organize meetings and conferences in the Tohoku and North Kanto area.
Current schedule of meetings and conferences to be held in the area:
・National Noodle and Soba Restaurant Convention, to be held in October 2012 in Iwaki City, Fukushima
・The Great East Japan Earthquake Water and Sewage Symposium (tentative title), to be held in March 2012 in Sendai City
・Director’s meeting of prefectural and city government environmental health sales guidance center, to be held in March 2012, in Fukushima City
