How to get open data

The Council for Promotion of Future Air Traffic Systems (CARATS Promotion Council) (chair: Tetsuo Yai, professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology) is examining ways to build future air traffic systems. From the viewpoint of revitalizing R & D in the field of air transport by industry, academia and government, the Council will provide wake data such as the time and position of regular flights useful for R & D as follows to interested universities and research institutions. To private companies, etc., and actively encourage participation in this initiative.

1. Data content : Data such as the time and position of scheduled flights in each of the following years (data overview, usage conditions, etc.Please refer to Attachment 1 in “How to get it”. )
2. Data provision method : Provided by DVD-R / RW (For the flow of provision, see Attachment 2 of “How to Obtain Open Data”. You will be charged for the actual expenses such as postage and media costs.)
