瓔珞

研究者はこの金箔加工がされた銅装飾は壁に昔かけられており、無量光院の仏像を装飾したと考えています。それらはこの複製が示すように紐によって束ねられていたのかもしれません。これらの装飾は、奥州藤原氏の三代目である秀衡（1122？–1187）によって建てられた無量光院の素晴らしさを証明する数少ない遺物の一部です。

Bronze ornaments
Important Cultural Property
Researchers believe these ornaments of gilded bronze once hung on the walls at Muryōkōin Temple or adorned Buddhist statues there. They may have been tied together with beaded strings, as shown in the reproductions of beaded strings here. These ornaments are some of the few remaining artifacts that attest to the splendor of Muryōkōin, built by the third Fujiwara lord Hidehira (1122?–1187).
