The Japan Tourism Agency (JTA) collects information on users of the JTA Sightseeing Database (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) to the extent necessary for optimal provision of services (including the provision of information through the Website). The JTA will not use the collected information for purposes other than that specified in 3, nor provide it to third parties, unless information disclosure is required by laws or ordinances, violations such as unauthorized access or threats are detected, or other special reasons exist. However, the JTA may disclose information, such as statistically processed information on access to the Website and user attributes.

The JTA takes the necessary measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or destruction of the collected information and to otherwise manage the collected information appropriately.
7. Disclosure of personal information
The Website does not collect the user’s name, date of birth, or any other information that can generally be used to identify the user.
8. Scope of application
This site policy applies only to the Website. The use of information by the relevant ministries and agencies is the responsibility of the respective organizations.
9. Other
The JTA reserves the right to revise the above site policy as necessary.
