鏡石
この岩の表面は、かつて鏡のように平らで輝いていたそうです。伝説によると、誠実な心を持った人が小さな石の角に座って真言を唱えると願いが成就します。
一番近い町石は27町石です。高野山と参詣道の終点である根本大塔は、ここから3キロも離れていないところにあります。

Kagami Ishi (Mirror Rock)
It is said that the surface of this rock was once as flat and shiny as a mirror. According to legend, a person with a sincere heart who managed to perch upon the small rock ledge and chant Buddhist mantras would see their dreams come true.
The closest choishi (stone marker) is number 27; Koyasan and the end of the trail at Konpon Daito pagoda are less than 3 kilometers away.
