Etonupu (Pitcher), Tuki (Alcohol Cup), and Kasup (Ladle)

The traditional alcoholic drink known as tonoto is made from fermented rice and millet. The etonupu, like the one on display here, is used as a vessel for serving tonoto during religious ceremonies. The drink is transferred from its storage container to the etonupu and then to the kasup. It is then poured into smaller cups, known as tuki, from which the participants drink.
