からくりオルゴール時計
文化館の展示ホールにあるこの特別な時計は、有田にある13の主要窯元が共同で制作したものである。毎正時と毎30分の30分ごとに文字盤が開き、簡単なショーを見せてくれる。時計の各部は有田焼で飾られており、有田焼で作られた子供たちの人形はその季節に合わせた装いをしている。機械式ディスプレイと共に流れる2分間の童謡も季節ごとに変わる。時計の文字盤の横には他の季節の子供たちの人形も飾られている。

Karakuri Musical Clock
This special clock in the main hall of the museum was created through the collaboration of 13 major kilns in Arita. Every 30 minutes, on the hour and half-hour, the face of the clock opens to perform a brief show. Various parts of the clock are embellished with Arita ware, and Arita-ware figurines of children wear outfits that correspond to the current season. The 2-minute-long children’s song that accompanies the mechanical display changes with the seasons. The children’s figurines of the other three seasons of the year are displayed next to the clockface.
