Yokoyama Feeling:

Yokoyama Feeling: Evening

The sun sinks lower, and the wind off the bay cools.

In summer, the haze in the distance deepens as the cicadas fall silent. In winter, however, the air grows more transparent with the approach of night.

Shadows of the hills lengthen across the bay, and the clouds grow darker. Sun filters through the trees on the hillside, subtly changing the colors of the scenery. The sky reddens slowly. The city of Shima begins to glow with electric light as the coastline and islands of Ago Bay disappear into the darkness. Above, the stars shine clear and bright, particularly on still winter nights.
