Workshop on Water Supply for Pacific Island Countries in Palau
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) held the “Workshop on Water Supply for Pacific Island Countries in Palau, 2026” in Koror City, Republic of Palau, on January 22, 2026.
This workshop featured presentations on Japan's water supply systems, overviews and challenges of water supply systems in Palau and Vanuatu, introductions to initiatives by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Asian Development Bank (ADB), and presentations by Japanese companies.
Additionally, participants visited water supply and sewerage facilities in Palau and they also visited JICA and ADB offices for exchanging their views.
