加賀友禅会館
加賀友禅会館は、加賀友禅に特化した小さな展示館だ。加賀友禅とは、高級な絹の染色技法だ。加賀友禅は、5色（臙脂・藍・黄土・草・古代紫）を基調とした色彩と、複雑なデザインが特徴だ。江戸時代（1603–1867）に、現在の石川県を含む加賀藩で始まった。この技法は、加賀藩統治時代に、前田家の支援のもとに栄えた。
この会館は、素晴らしい職人が手がけた加賀友禅の着物を展示している。また、加賀友禅の工房があり、職人たちによる染色工程の実演もある。訪問者たちは、本物の加賀友禅を着ることができ、また、ハンカチまたはトートバッグにデザインを染色できる。
Kaga-Yuzen Kimono Center
The Kaga-Yuzen Kimono Center is a small museum dedicated to Kaga-yuzen, a high-end silk dyeing technique. Kaga-yuzen is characterized by five basic colors (indigo, crimson, dark green, ocher, and royal purple) and intricate designs. The craft originated during the Edo period (1603–1867) in the Kaga domain, which included present-day Ishikawa. It flourished under the patronage of the Maeda family, lords of the domain.
The center displays Kaga-yuzen kimono made by notable artisans and houses a Kaga-yuzen workshop where craftsmen demonstrate the dyeing process. Visitors can try on real Kaga-yuzen kimono and dye designs on a handkerchief or tote bag.
