天白公園
数百本ものツツジ
この公園には、4月半ばから終わり頃に花を咲かせるツツジが6種類、合計400本群生しており、その中には、この地方の固有種で稀少なナギソミツバツツジが含まれています。この公園は、1975年に天然記念物に指定され、ナギソミツバツツジは、1990年に正式に南木曽町の町の花として指定されました。
この公園からは、その北東の谷の上に標高3,000メートル弱の木曽山地、下の谷には桃介橋、そして谷の向こう側には標高1,633mの南木曽岳を望む壮大な風景を楽しむことができます。----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tenpaku Park
Hundreds of Azaleas
This park contains 400 azaleas in six varieties that flower from mid to late April. Among them is Nagiso mitsuba tsutsuji, a rare variety unique to this region. The park was designated a natural monument in 1975; the Nagiso mitsuba tsutsuji was designated the official flower of Nagiso in 1990.
The park offers magnificent views northeast up the valley to the nearly 3,000-meter-high Kiso Mountains, down the valley to the Momosuke Bridge, and across the valley to the 1,676-meter Mt. Nagisodake.
