甲賀流忍者調査団・団長の磯田道史氏について
展示室では、「甲賀流忍者調査団 忍者ファインダーズ」として知られる甲賀流忍者調査団の活動と発見、および甲賀流忍者の歴史に関する調査を紹介しています。チームリーダーは、国際日本文化研究センターに所属する磯田道史教授です。
演劇、映画、テレビ、書籍、漫画などを通じて忍者が世界に紹介され、人気のイメージが形成されてきましたが、これらの忍者像はしばしば正確ではありません。甲賀流忍者研究チームは、歴史的な文書や地元の忍者家系の子孫へのインタビューを用いて、甲賀流忍者の真実の姿を解明しています。調査は現在も進行中であり、チームはこの展示が甲賀流忍者に関心を持つすべての人々に知識を共有する拠点となることを期待しています。
Kokaryu Ninja Research Team
Pop culture, media, and art forms like manga and film have introduced ninja to the world and shaped their popular image, but these portrayals are often inaccurate. The Kokaryu Ninja Research Team, also known as the Ninja Finders, has used historical documents and interviews with descendants of local ninja families to piece together a truer picture. This exhibition room introduces the activities and findings of the team, which is led by Professor Isoda Michifumi of the International Research Center for Japanese Studies. While research is ongoing, the team hopes the exhibition will serve as a hub for sharing this collective knowledge and helping people gain insight into the Koka ninja.
