Everyone is welcome to pray at Meiji Jingu. Please follow these steps:

1. Place a coin offering into the offertory box

2. Bow deeply twice

3. Stretch your hands out to chest level and slowly clap twice

4. On the second clap, put your hands together in prayer and pray silently

5. Bow deeply once again

There is no recommended offering amount. It is the act of reverence which is important.

誰でも参拝することができます。次の順序に従ってください。


お賽銭箱にお賽銭を入れます

2回深いお辞儀をします

胸の高さに手を持ってき、ゆっくりと2回手を叩きます。

最後の拍手の際には両手を合わせ静かに祈ります。

もう一度深くお辞儀をします。


礼拝の行為自体が重要であるため、投入する金額は関係ありません。
