Bamboo Grove

A short distance past the main hall is a stone stairway lined on both sides by a thick grove of moso bamboo. This species of bamboo can exceed 20 meters in height and is considered very ornamental with its elegant canes and dense foliage. The quiet pathway curves upwards and to the right, concealing what lies at the end and making it seem as if the stairs continue infinitely through the bamboo. This scenic part of the Adashino Nenbutsuji temple grounds is smaller and slightly more remote than the popular Sagano Bamboo Forest nearby in Arashiyama, but is no less beautiful.

竹林

距本堂（正殿）不遠有一道石階，夾道皆是濃密的孟宗竹林。這種竹子可以長到20多公尺高，枝幹優雅挺拔、竹葉繁茂蔥鬱，極具觀賞性。幽靜的小道蜿蜒向上，右轉後盡頭沒入竹林，給人以彷彿穿行在一條無盡延伸的竹徑中的感覺。化野念佛寺的這處靜謐之地比附近人氣景點嵐山嵯峨野竹林的面積小一些，且略顯偏僻，但風光之美不遑多讓。

距本堂（正殿）不远有一道石阶，夹道皆是浓密的孟宗竹林。“孟宗竹”又名“毛竹”，可以长到20多米高，因枝干优雅挺拔、竹叶繁茂葱郁而被认为极具观赏性。幽静的小道蜿蜒向上，右转后没入竹林，仿佛石阶在竹林中向着远处无限延伸。化野念佛寺的这处静谧之地比附近人气旺盛的岚山嵯峨野竹林面积小一些，地理位置也略显偏僻，但风光之美不遑多让。
